St. Nicholas is a small cosy resort within Vasilikos which is an area covering the Southeastern peninsula of the island including the National Marine Park gulf. This green area comprising of olive groves & pine forests, still unspoilt, is considered “The” place to stay for a quality experience.

During the day explore the several sandy beaches including Gerakas or “Turtle Bay” the main nesting site of the Caretta Caretta Loggerhead turtles. Hillside & olive groves are perfect for relaxing and interesting walks. During the evening the traditional taverns in the area offer a plentiful choice of local cuisine.

The main road brings you from Zakynthos town through Argassi into Vasilikos. On entering the pine forest turn left to St. Nicholas following the road for about 500 meters and you will find cottages, apartments, 2 mini-markets, 3 taverns and the Hotel Vasilikos Beach on your left.

A few meters further you will find yourself on the beach of St.Nicholas. The nearest, large resort is Argasi where there are pubs, clubs & restaurants to spend a lively evening.

Zante town is located at a 15-kilometre distance. Here you will find museums, historical squares, the island’s main shopping road, restaurants and coffee shops where you can enjoy a refreshing coffee while watching the world go by.
